This policy explains how , doing business as Karla's Kitchen ("we", "us"), handles information on karlaskitchenrgv.com. We're a small home bakery. We collect only what we need to make your cake, and we never sell your information.

1. What we collect

  • Cake request details you type in: occasion, date, flavors, design ideas, servings, allergy notes, and pickup or delivery details.
  • Contact details: your name, phone number and email, and a delivery address if you choose delivery.
  • Photos you upload as design inspiration (up to three per request).
  • Basic technical data our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address and browser type.

2. How we use it

To review your request, contact you about it, price and schedule your order, and keep a record of orders. We may use an anonymized description of a past cake (never your personal details) when sharing our work.

3. Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and choose text, we'll text you only about your request or order. We don't send marketing texts unless you separately ask to receive them. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Mobile numbers and text consent are never shared with or sold to third parties for marketing.

4. Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and our email (such as Cloudflare for hosting and storage), only as needed to provide those services, or when required by law.

5. Photos of our cakes

We photograph the cakes we make and may post them on this site and on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. We don't post photos of you, your guests or your personal details. If you'd rather we not post your cake, tell us and we won't. Inspiration photos you upload are used only for your order and are not posted.

6. Cookies

The public site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. We remember your language choice in your browser. The owner's admin area uses one sign-in cookie.

7. How long we keep it

We keep request and order records for up to two years for our business records, then delete them. Inspiration photos are deleted when the request is removed. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

8. Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing support@karlaskitchenrgv.com. We'll respond within 45 days.

9. Children

This site is meant for adults placing orders. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit who can see your data to the business owner.
